Svest, Snovi, Ponašanje (Mind, Dreams, Behavior) is an annual accredited scientific symposium held at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade. We built its bilingual website, participant accounts, organizer dashboard, and iOS app ahead of the September 2026 edition.

What the client needed.
The 2026 symposium, themed “Consciousness and time, the present as a moment”, brought twelve speakers and three sessions to SANU on 17 September 2026 for an audience of neurologists, psychiatrists, anesthesiologists, and psychologists. Attendance earns continuing medical education points, so registration, identity, and certificates all had to be handled properly.
An annual event needs more than a brochure site. Organizers needed to publish the program and speakers themselves, track registrations, and message participants. Participants needed their own account, their own agenda, and their certificate afterwards. And the whole thing had to be reusable next year.
What we built
- Bilingual Serbian and English website: home, program, speakers, news, partners, contact, and registration
- Participant accounts with sign-in, password setup by email, and certificate download with accreditation points
- Organizer dashboard for news, speakers, program, partners, and the scientific committee, with scheduled publishing and CSV export of registrations
- Managed database backend with row-level security, serverless functions on Vercel, and transactional email
- iOS app built with Expo and React Native: program, speakers, a personal agenda with session reminders, certificates, a venue map, and news with push notifications
- Structured data for the event and every speaker, hreflang alternates, a sitemap, per-page social images, and an llms.txt file

A cinematic hero that stays fast
A lightweight poster image loads first. The full video only loads when a visitor chooses to step in, so the first paint stays quick on any connection.
The full participant lifecycle
Registration creates an account, sends a password email, and later delivers a certificate with continuing education points in the participant’s own area.
Built to run every year
The dashboard archives an edition and opens the next one, so organizers can run the 2027 symposium without a developer.
A companion app for the day itself
Attendees build a personal program, get a reminder before each session, and receive news from organizers as push notifications.
Machine-readable from day one
An EducationEvent schema graph lists every speaker as a performer, alongside venue, offers, and organizer, in both languages.
